- The Oregon Renaissance Faire is back and expanded to four weekends in June.
This year’s Oregon Renaissance Faire will be four weekends and feature plenty to see, taste and enjoy
CANBY – There’s something stirring in the Willamette Valley air as May meanders towards June. It’s a vibe that only the clang of swords, roasted turkey legs, a bard on a box, or even a flagon of ale can fully explain.
The Oregon Renaissance Faire returns bigger and better in 2025. It is quite the impressive growth from the one-weekend event that debuted at Canby’s fairgrounds 10 years ago. The cosplay will be impressive, the food filling, the drinks satisfying, and the vibe, oh that vibe, will be something special.
The Oregon Renaissance Faire has announced an exciting expansion to four full weekends in June 2025, offering guests even more time to experience its immersive Renaissance village, unique entertainment, and bustling artisan marketplace.
Now entering its most ambitious season yet, the expanded 2025 run promises an unforgettable blend of history, fantasy, and festivity for all ages.

There’s plenty to see and do at the expanded Oregon Renaissance Faire in Canby.
From full-contact jousting and interactive performances to face painting, archery, and living history demonstrations, the event offers a truly all-ages experience where families, fantasy lovers, and cosplayers alike can step back in time to the Renaissance era.
“We are thrilled to expand the Oregon Renaissance Faire to four weekends, allowing us to bring more joy and excitement to the local community and beyond,” said Tracy Nietupski, faire organizer. “Our goal is to not only entertain and educate, but also to support local businesses and foster tourism in the Canby community.”
Set in the storybook village of the Vale of Dunrose, the faire invites guests into a living, breathing Scottish hamlet presided over by King James VI of Scotland and his royal court.
Each weekend features a unique theme, offering visitors new ways to engage – from the whimsical fae-inspired “Woodland Revelry,” to the circus chaos of “Feast of Fools,” high-seas adventures during “Legends of the High Seas,” and the fantasy-infused sci-fi mashup of “Across the Multiverse.”
The Clackamas County Fairgrounds transform into a whimsical destination where more than 150 artisan vendors showcase handcrafted wares, costumed characters roam the lanes, and themed Saturday evening events feature fire performances, live music, dancing, and revelry after dark.
On Saturday, June 21, The Oregon Renaissance Faire hosts ASL Interpretation Day, a special day where select performances will feature American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, ensuring that more guests can fully experience the magic, storytelling, and excitement of the Faire.
Throughout the day, ASL interpreters will be present at designated shows, bringing to life the thrilling jousts and comedic performances that make the Vale of Dunrose so enchanting.
The goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where deaf and hard of hearing guests can fully immerse themselves in the wonder of the Faire.
With more than 300 cast members across seven stages and more than 70,000 attendees annually, the Oregon Renaissance Faire has become a cornerstone of cultural tourism and creative community in the Pacific Northwest.
All tickets are sold online in advance – there are no ticket sales at the gate. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.oregonfaire.com. Saturday evening events begin at 7 p.m. and require a separate ticket.
