The Canby baseball team just about did it all in 2025.

The Cougars battled to a second-place finish in the tough-as-nails Northwest Oregon Conference, took the third seed into Class 5A state playoffs and eventually played their way into the 2025 championship game.

In response, Canby’s players were honored big-time, landing four players on the all-Northwest Oregon Conference first team, that group led by sophomore Jack Brauckmiller, who was named NWOC Pitcher of the Year.

Also named to the NWOC first team for 2025 were senior infielder Brady Ackerman, senior first baseman Colby Herren and senior designated player Dylan Nelson. In total, seven Canby players were honored at nine spots on the all-league team.
