Molalla Equestrian: Indians ride well, snag placings at state meet

Indians ride well, deliver plenty of positives at state meet
The Molalla High equestrian team finished off its season with some solid performances at the state meet in Redmond May 8-11.
Carter Berreth led the way with a second-place finish in steer daubing. Angela Nordahl snagged a sixth-place performance in saddle seat equitation. In all, Molalla had six top-10 performances against the state’s best at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds.
Berreth and Nordahl still have some competing to do, having both qualified for the Pacific North West Invitational June 20-22 back at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds.
As a team, Molalla finished 10th in the large division.
